Longueuil mayor Caroline St-Hilaire confirmed the news on Twitter Saturday morning, writing that residents in Vieux-Longueuil, Saint-Hubert, Boucherville and Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville can now drink water directly from the tap.
Longueuil officials say the advisory was put in place after a water-pressure issue at a filtration plant caused a sudden drop in water pressure.
