REGINA – The Regina man on trial for the death of a toddler will carry into a fourth week.
Adam Cyr is on trial for second degree murder in the 2012 death of two-year-old Natalia Shingoose.
On Friday, the defense filed the police interview with Shingoose’s mother, Amanda Trevor, as well as the interview with Mathew Bennett, as evidence. Doing so allows the jury to review the tapes during deliberations.
Last week, the defense accused Bennet of killing the young girl.
The judge also apologized to the jury Friday for the delays in the trial, which began on January 5th.
Court will resume Monday morning.
