WINNIPEG — A 17-year-old youth is charged with second-degree murder in the death of a 13-year-old boy on a First Nation in northern Manitoba, RCMP said Monday.
The boy’s body was found on an outdoor trail in Pukatawagan on Dec. 2.

The slain boy’s family said he was an outgoing boy who had lots of friends.
The accused and the younger boy knew each other, RCMP said.
Mounties have not given any details about the boy’s death except to say it was firearm-related.
