Former TDSB trustee to appear in court on confinement, harassment charges

TORONTO – Former Toronto District School Board trustee Howard Goodman is scheduled to appear in court Thursday on charges of forcible confinement and criminal harassment.

Although the details surrounding the charges have not been released by police, sources tell the Toronto Star the allegations stem from a dispute between Goodman and Education Director Donna Quan.

The newspaper reports Quan and Goodman got into a heated discussion last January that ultimately resulted in a confrontation between the two inside a small office at the school board’s headquarters.

The charges against Goodman were dropped in 2015.
