BROOKS, AB – RCMP are investigating a possible homicide southeast of Calgary.
Someone reported hearing gun shots in the town of Brooks just before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon; when police arrived at the scene they found am an suffering from a bullet wound.
The 26-year-old victim was taken to hospital where he died from his injury. He was a resident of Brooks. His name has not been released pending notification of kin.
An autopsy will be performed in Calgary on Wednesday to determine the exact cause of death.
