Edmonton man accused of sexually assaulting girl, 16, in New Brunswick

UPPER KINGSCLEAR, N.B. – RCMP have charged a man after an alleged sexual assault against a teenage girl in southwestern New Brunswick.

Police say the 16-year-old girl sustained non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday in Upper Kingsclear, about 35 kilometres from Fredericton.

She was treated in hospital and later released.

A 25-year-old man from Edmonton was arrested without incident at a residence in Oromocto, N.B.

Police say Christopher Grinham is charged with sexual assault causing bodily harm.
