In a true example of selfless action by man’s best friend, Noah the German shepherd took a bullet for his family in a road rage attack Friday.
Witnesses say a man became angry while driving and followed a Chevy Suburban into the parking lot of a strip mall in Atlanta, Georgia.

The raging gunman opened fire into the SUV that had at least three children inside. That’s when Noah jumped in the way of the bullets to protect the children and their mother, according to witnesses.
Noah then jumped out of the passenger door window to chase the gunman down, before running behind a nearby store where he was later found dead. Surveillance video shows the dog walking past the shops of the strip mall soon after the shooting.
Police say the family was not the target of the shooting, but got caught between the gunman and his target.
