Video captures dozens of gunshots inside Ottawa parliament buildings

At least 20 shots can be heard being fired inside Parliament in a video posted to the Globe and Mail website Wednesday morning.

The video was shot by newspaper reporter Josh Wingrove who was inside the building at the time and might be the only video to capture the shooting.

The video shows several emergency officials running down a long hallway. The camera person ducks behind a wall as the first shot rings out, followed by more than a dozen shots in quick succession.
