The firefighter caught having sex while on duty will face unspecified disciplinary measures but it appears he will not be dismissed from the Winnipeg Fire Department.
The City of Winnipeg released a statement from Fire Chief Jim Brennan just before noon Tuesday saying,
"Today, a formal hearing was held by the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS), to hear all parties’ representations with respect to an alleged consensual indiscretion on the part of one firefighter on duty at Station #4, on the evening of July 25, 2009. This hearing has now concluded.
