MILLBROOK, N.S. – Nova Scotia RCMP say a young man has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly ran over a 17-year-old boy with his vehicle several times.
Police say 19-year-old Doug Probert of Onslow has been charged in connection with the alleged incident at a business plaza in Millbrook on Thursday evening.

The Mounties say Probert was allegedly involved in an altercation with the teen before running over him with his vehicle.

Police say the victim remains in a Halifax hospital with serious injuries.
Probert is scheduled to appear in Truro provincial court on Monday.
RCMP are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to contact police.
