New memorial in Surrey park honours slain teen

The grand re-opening of a renovated Surrey playground will pay tribute to a teenager who was murdered more than three years ago.

19-year-old Devon Allaire-Bell was stabbed to death during an altercation with a group of men at Frank Hurt Park in April 2011. His friend was also seriously injured.

Since Allaire-Bell’s tragic death, his parents have been working to make the park a safer place.
