UPDATE: Both classic cars recovered after theft near Yorkton

YORKTON, Sask. – RCMP are investigating the theft of two classic cars from a storage Quonset 22 kilometres southwest of Yorkton, Sask.

Between Sept. 9 and 16, Mounties say three suspects entered the Quonset on two separate occasions in the Rural Municipality of Cana.

A trail camera captured the suspects initially taking photos of the vehicles and then returning a few days later with a dually truck. The suspects loaded both cars onto a flat deck trailer and left.

RCMP are using the camera footage in the investigation.

Yorkton is approximately 305 kilometres southeast of Saskatoon.

Correction: RCMP had previously stated the theft took place in August.
