Back in April an 18 year old woman and a 21 year old man had to be extracted from an SUV that rolled onto its roof near Lewvan and Saskatchewan Drive.

The woman was in the passenger seat. She died a few hours later in hospital.

The driver was in serious condition, suffering from non-life threatening injuries. He was arrested Tuesday, almost five months after the crash.

Regina Police say it was a “complex investigation”.

Regina Police have charged Brandon Vincent Marcotte from Estevan with impaired driving causing death, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.

He’s scheduled to appear in court October 2.
