HALIFAX – Police have arrested a woman who was reportedly in possession of a gun at Sunrise Manor on Gottingen Street in Halifax.
The 52-year-old woman was arrested after police observed her with a firearm just before 11 a.m. on Thursday.
Police were at the building already on another call.

The floor around the apartment and some below were evacuated as a precaution.
Investigators recovered a pellet gun at the scene.
Police did not say what floor the woman’s apartment was on or if she was alone inside when officers responded.
The woman’s name has not been released.
