STRATFORD, Ont. – A head-on collision near Stratford, Ont., has sent seven people to hospital, including two children.

Provincial police say the crash between a car and a van occurred just after 5 p.m. Friday on Highway 23, south of Mitchell.

A man was sent to a London hospital by air ambulance from the crash scene.

The other six people were originally sent to local hospitals but then an infant was airlifted to London and another toddler was taken to London by land ambulance.

No names have been released and police say their investigation is continuing.
