WATCH: Raw video of aftermath of light plane crash on Quebec highway
MONTREAL – A light plane crash landed on a Quebec highway near Terrebonne, an off-island suburb north-east of Montreal on Friday.
Quebec provincial police said that the pilot, who walked away without a scratch, was lucky to be alive.

“The pilot landed on part of the highway,” Sûreté du Québec spokesperson Gregory Gomez told Global News.
According to authorities, the Cessna plane left the Mascouche airport at around 10 a.m.
The pilot quickly realized that there were engine problems and reacted fast, landing on the westbound side of Highway 640 near Chemin des Anglais.

A section of the highway was temporarily closed in order to remove the plane.
