TORONTO — Five minutes of footage from the upcoming crossover episode of The Simpsons and Family Guy was screened Saturday at Comic-Con International in San Diego — and then found its way online.
In the clip, the Griffin family finds itself in the Simpsons’ hometown of Springfield.

“What state?,” asks Stewie.
“I can’t imagine we’re allowed to say,” responds Brian.
Homer Simpson welcomes the “albino visitors” with donuts from the Kwik-E-Mart and Peter Griffin gifts Homer with a six-pack of familiar-tasting Pawtucket Patriot Ale.
Also in the episode, Bart teaches Stewie about the art of making prank phone calls — with less than perfect results — and skateboarding.
There is also an epic fight scene between Peter and Homer (with Homer in the giant chicken role).
Characters from The Simpsons have previously shown up in episodes of Family Guy but this is the first time the two animated series have officially partnered.
The episode is scheduled to air Sept. 28 — the start of the 26th season of The Simpsons and the 13th season of Family Guy.
Both The Simpsons and Family Guy air Sunday nights on Global.
