VANCOUVER – Crews are searching for two men who disappeared while boating on a resevoir near Revelstoke.
Police say the men were reported missing late Monday night after they failed to return from the Kinbasket Reservoir.
The two men had been fishing in a 3.5 metre aluminum boat. Employees with BC Hydro started searching that night and on Tuesday the RCMP and Search and Rescue crews began conducting aerial patrols.
The search will continue today by air and boat.
Police say the shoreline is very deep at the large reservoir.
The missing men have not been identified but they are each about 60 years old. One is from Osoyoos and the other is from Mission.
