Witnesses say 2 male teens shot in drive-by shooting in south Edmonton

EDMONTON – Police are investigating what they are calling a targeted attack on a residential street in south Edmonton.

One neighbour says there are six bullet holes in his garage door from the drive-by shooting just after 5 p.m. Monday near the intersection of 87 Street and 10 Avenue.

Edmonton police say two males in their 20s were shot, but witnesses say the pair were 16 and 17.

One was shot while in the vehicle while the other was standing outside the vehicle.

Witnesses say a white SUV sped by and fired shots at the two teens, who were in serious, but stable condition in hospital.

Police have not released any other information.
