PICKERING, Ont. – Police say a six-year-old girl is in hospital with a life-threatening head injury after crashing a go-kart east of Toronto.

Investigators say it happened around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in an industrial parking lot in Pickering.
They say the girl was driving the go-kart under adult supervision when she lost control and plowed into two parked cars.
Police say she wasn’t wearing a helmet.
