The Highway Traffic Board handed down the extended impoundment of a vehicle for four months after learning of more than a dozen speeding tickets had been issued to a Saskatoon motorist.
The vehicle belonging to a 27-year-old Saskatoon man has been impounded for four months following multiple offenses of speeding this year.
On May 1, Saskatoon police stopped the driver for going double the speed limit on Warman Road. Another instance on July 7, the same vehicle was stopped on McKercher Drive travelling at 103 kilometres per hour in a 50 kilometre per hour zone.
Tickets issued in each incident resulted in fines of more than $400.
