Woman injured after car smashes into bank ATM in Mississauga

TORONTO – A woman using an ATM was injured after a vehicle slammed into the side of a bank in Mississauga Friday morning.

The incident happened around 7 a.m. at the TD Bank located in the Meadowvale Town Centre.

Peel police say the vehicle drove through the bank window while the female victim was still inside. She suffered minor injuries.

The male driver was trapped until fire crews arrived to remove debris around his car.

The police major collision team has been called to the scene for the investigation.
