Transit Police are hoping the witness to an indecent act on a transit bus will come forward.
Police say a female passenger was on the 99 B-Line on East Broadway last Sunday when she saw a man “committing an indecent act” at the back of the bus.
The passenger advised the bus driver, who pulled over near Guelph Street and opened the door. The suspect walked down East Broadway and was arrested by Transit Police a short time later. The 25-year-old man was released on a promise to appear in court June 4, 2014 and is known to police for similar offences.
Police want to talk to the female witness who left the area before they were able to speak with her. She’s described as white, 30-35 years old, 5’6″, with blonde hair.
