WATCH ABOVE: Tourists get close encounter with gray whales
TORONTO – Who hasn’t wanted to give a whale a kiss?
For one lucky woman on a grey whale tour off the coast of Mexico, she got that chance, and it wasn’t a whale in captivity.
Edward Berlin was able to capture the kiss and the close encounters with the gray whales while in the San Ignacio Lagoon in Mexico.
A few whales approach the boat, allow themselves to be pet, and even seem to put on a show for the tourists.
San Ignacio Lagoon, known for its friendly whales, is home to eco-tours showcasing the large creatures. Gray whales winter in the warmer waters in the south and then migrate to the northern waters during the summer months.
