The City of Saskatoon and the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission will host a news conference on Monday, June 27, 2011. Chief Commissioner David Arnot of the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission will speak publicly about City Council’s decision to cancel the accessible taxi fare.
Speakers at the event will include Mayor Donald Atchison, Chief Commissioner Arnot, Disability Rights Advocate Len Boser, and Troy Larmer of United Cabs on behalf of the three taxi companies.
