Alberta men charged in drug bust

EDMONTON – Two men have been charged for allegedly selling drugs west of Edmonton.

Twenty-five-year old Codie Frakes and 21-year-old Erik Moore are facing numerous charges for allegedly trafficking cocaine throughout Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Parkland County.

  • Possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (baton, folding knife, bear spray)
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

Police seized approximately 34 individually wrapped bags of cocaine, along with about $15,000 in cash.

Frakes, who’s a resident of Edmonton, was released from custody, with a curfew condition stipulating he remains in his home between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Moore, who’s a resident of Fort McMurray, was also released from custody under the same stipulations.
