TORONTO – You don’t need to be a pro to capture a beautiful moment in time — often a selfie will do.

Holi, the popular Hindu spring festival of colours, is observed in India at the end of the winter season on the last full moon of the lunar month.

Hindus celebrate the holiday by painting each other in bright colours, distributing sweets and squirting water at one another.

On Twitter, Holi revellers shared bright, colourful selfies to mark the occasion, and the results are wonderful.
