MARKHAM, Ont. – Police in Markham are looking for witnesses after an elderly couple and their daughter were hit by a pickup truck on Saturday night.
York Regional Police say the father is in critical condition, while the mother and the daughter suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The three were trying to cross the road when they were hit on Main Street, near Wilson Street.
Police say poor visibility due to rain may have been a factor.
