Knifepoint robbery nets cash and smokes, police seek pair of suspects

<p>HALIFAX – Police in Halifax are looking for a man suspected of a knifepoint robbery and a woman who was seen driving the getaway car.</p> <p>A man wearing a mask stole cash and cigarettes during the holdup around 7 p.m. Monday at the Wilsons Gas Stop at 70 Farnham Gate Rd.</p> <p>Police say the man dumped the smokes into a garbage can and fled on foot to a waiting car driven by a blond woman.</p> <p>The clerk was not injured.</p> <p>The male suspect is about six-foot-two and between 20 and 25 years old, while police had no further details on the woman.</p>
