Ann Marie Vaughan named new president, CEO of the College of the North Atlantic

<p>ST. JOHN’S, N.L. – Ann Marie Vaughan has been appointed the next president and CEO of the College of the North Atlantic in Newfoundland.</p> <p>Premier Kathy Dunderdale made the announcement today.</p> <p>Dunderdale says Vaughan has worked in the post-secondary education field for more than two decades.</p> <p>She was most recently director of distance education, learning and teaching support at Memorial University.</p> <p>Bruce Hollett has been the college’s interim president since last June.</p> <p>Vaughan will assume her duties on Aug. 1.</p> <p>The College of the North Atlantic has 17 campuses throughout the province and one in Qatar in the Middle East.</p>
