34-year-old N.S. woman facing a dozen sex-related charges involving

<p>KENTVILLE, N.S. – A 34-year-old Nova Scotia woman will be back in court next month on a dozen sex-related charges involving young people.</p> <p>Angie Carrie Vernon of Greenwood appeared in Kentville provincial court today on five charges of sexual assault and five of touching a person under the age of 16.</p> <p>Vernon is also charged with two counts of unlawfully harbouring an individual under the age of 14 with the intent of depriving the parents of possession.</p> <p>A publication ban has been placed on details that would identify the alleged victims.</p> <p>The incidents are alleged to have taken place between December of last year and the end of March.</p> <p>Vernon will be back in court on June 9 for election and plea.</p> <p>(CKEN)</p>
