Halifax police release name of man fatally shot in North Preston

<p>HALIFAX – Halifax police say the young man fatally shot on the weekend in North Preston was wearing a bullet-proof vest.</p> <p>RCMP spokesman Cpl. Scott MacRae identified the 22-year-old victim at Nathan Cross.</p> <p>Police say Cross died Sunday while being rushed to hospital with a serious wound.</p> <p>Police say several shots were fired on Churchill Terrace just before 6:30 p.m.</p> <p>MacRae says no arrests have been made and police are seeking witnesses.</p>
