Former Liberal member of N.S. legislature Richie Hubbard dies at 78

<p>YARMOUTH, N.S. – A former member of the Nova Scotia legislature has died.</p> <p>Richie Hubbard died Tuesday in Yarmouth at the age of 78.</p> <p>Hubbard was elected in 1993 and served for five years as the Liberal member for Yarmouth.</p> <p>Before entering politics Hubbard was the first recreation director for the town of Yarmouth.</p> <p>Prior to that he served in the military for 24 years.</p> <p>A funeral mass will be held Friday at St. Ambrose Cathedral.
