‘Bomb Girls: Facing The Enemy’ TV movie set to air March 27

TORONTO — Fans of Bomb Girls got some good news Wednesday — a two-hour movie that brings closure to the series will air March 27 at 8 p.m. on Global.

Meg Tilly returns as Lorna in Bomb Girls: Facing The Enemy along with co-stars Ali Liebert, Charlotte Hegele and Jodi Balfour.

Set in early 1943 as the Battle of the Atlantic rages, the workers at Victory Munitions are tasked with turning out not only bombs but new secret sonar equipment.

Things get complicated when one of the women is covert recruited by Allied Intelligence to find a traitor in the factory.

Bomb Girls — intended to be a six-part mini-series — debuted on Global in 2012 and ran for two seasons.

The movie was filmed late last year in Toronto and Hamilton.
