Police say it appears that a medical episode may be to blame for a single-vehicle rollover that snarled traffic on the Yellowhead early Thursday morning.
The accident happened around 6:45 a.m. at the 82 Street offramp. A vehicle struck a cement barricade and flipped, coming to rest on its roof.
The jaws of life were needed to extract the male driver, who was taken to hospital for observation.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
