A funeral service for Lethbridge city councillor Wade Galloway will be held this Saturday March 1, at 2 p.m.
The service will be held at the Evangelical Free Church at 4717-24 Avenue South in Lethbridge.
Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
Galloway, 37, died after he was caught in an avalanche on February 15 at Waterton Lakes National Park while snowboarding with a friend.
He leaves behind his wife Sarah and two children.
The family asks that memorial donations be made to the Canadian Avalanche Centre, Box 2759, 110 MacKenzie Avenue, Revelstoke, BC V0E 2S0 or to the Galloway Tragedy Trust Fund at any Canadian branch of the Royal Bank of Canada.
