It was only about a minute into the opening song, SMS (Bangerz), before Miley Cyrus bent over and twerked before the adoring Vancouver crowd on the first night of her new tour.
The cheers and screams were deafening.
Cyrus kicked off her Bangerz tour in Vancouver on Valentine’s Day and played to an adoring crowd of about 15,000 at Rogers Arena.
She played every song off her new studio album, with some old favourites thrown in for good measure.
Her tour is set to wrap up in June in Barcelona.

Some of the memorable moments from her Vancouver concert include: throwing money into the crowd, riding a giant hot dog, making her first appearance on stage by riding down a slide made from her own tongue, had her backup dancers dress up in giant furry costumes and when she created a ‘kiss cam’ for the crowd during the song Adore You.

Piece of advice: Cyrus does two encores so don’t leave after the first one!
