Aerial footage: Police investigate after woman run over by own car
TORONTO – An elderly woman has been seriously injured after being run over by her own car.

Police are investigating how the car ended up running over its owner and would only say she was close to the vehicle before it happened.
She was injured just after 3:30 p.m. outside of an apartment complex on Lakeshore Road near Dixie Road in Mississauga.
Traffic in the area could be slowed as police investigate.
The 83-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
