An Okanagan musician just wanted to spread some holiday cheer but ended up being the victim of a Christmas Grinch.
The guitarist, who is not being named, had just put down his guitar after finishing a set of songs at a thrift store on Roxby Road in Kelowna on Monday.
He turned away for a moment and while his back was turned, his guitar was stolen.
The guitar is a Washburn Model AE 16 and is a cutaway acoustic electric six string.
It has a bright metallic finish on the body and the machine head.
Police currently have no witnesses or suspects and are asking for the public’s help to find the thief.
