One person was airlifted following a a head-on collision on County Road 28 south of Peterborough, Ont., on Thursday morning.
Northumberland OPP said the collision, which occurred around 8:55 a.m., involved a tractor trailer and a SUV near Boundary Road near the hamlet of Bewdley.

An Ornge air ambulance landed at the scene to assist emergency crews.
OPP say one of the drivers suffered serious injuries and was transported by Ornge to hospital.
County Road 28 closed between Dieppe Road/9th Line and County Road 9 until around 12:30 a.m. Friday, police reported.
Northumberland OPP continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
