Homicide detectives say they’re seeking a man in connection with the discovery of Niagara Falls woman found dead on the weekend.
Niagara Regional Police (NRPS) say they’ve identified the body recovered Friday in the area of Thundering Waters Boulevard and Marineland Parkway in Niagara Falls as Tenille King.
King was reported missing in early November and last seen in the area of Stanley Avenue near McLeod Road in Niagara Falls on Oct. 25.
Police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for 46-year-old David Brown, of no fixed address, now accused of second-degree murder.
A police spokesperson says the suspect was last seen in the Sudbury area on November 4 and that his current whereabouts are unknown.
“He is known to live a transient lifestyle and is resourceful in the wilderness, living off of the land,” police said in an email.
The accused, identified in a social media post, is described as a five-foot eleven-inch man with blue or hazel eyes and tattoos on his left arm described as a tribal design, mermaid, and flame armband.
He was last seen wearing brown construction overalls, black sweater with “buffalo plaid,” black rubber winter boots and a military-style backpack.
Homicide detectives characterize the suspect as “dangerous” and suggest residents who see him not to approach but call 911 immediately.
