Eastside Arts Society (EAS) presents the second annual CREATE! Arts Festival, a multi-disciplinary and interactive art-making event, taking place July 23 outdoors at Strathcona Park and on July 24 at several Eastside studios. CREATE! brings together local visual and performing artists and the community to explore, learn, and create art together through a series of affordable and accessible workshops for adults and children, public art activities, and art demonstrations. New this year, an Art Zone with a host of public art activities including mosaics, painting, drawing, ceramics, textiles, and storytelling; plus a licensed beer, wine and cider service by Strange Fellows Brewing and food from Melt City, Johnny’s Pops, Camion Cafe, Scavenger Coffee & Bistrovan food trucks.
