Come to listen to songs written and performed LIVE by Asian Canadian artists about anti-Asian racism and resilience. “See Us, Hear Us” Concert is a musical artist showcase, presented by the Vancouver Asian Film Festival and Elimin8Hate, its social advocacy arm. As a celebration of our See Us, Hear Us Campaign, we present some of our city’s hottest emerging musical artists, who are challenging the status quo, championing positive change, and relaying uplifting stories of resilience within our strong Asian Diaspora. Featuring Asian Persuasion All Stars, Amanda Sum, Katana, Jasmin Orton, Kayee Lee, Kristina Lao, and Serena Sun, we will be serving up an exclusive evening of new and unreleased original music in a relaxed, intimate setting at D/6 Bar and Lounge. From folk to funk, sultry soul to singer-songwriter, join us for an unforgettable evening of connection, collaboration and musical curation in the Arts community, while supporting us in our essential work: to interrupt, dismantle and eliminate anti-Asian racism by harnessing the power of arts, film and media.
