This free event is an opportunity to learn about Canada’s Residential schools and the impact still felt today as well as celebrate Indigenous culture. Participate in medicine bag workshops, taste Indigenous tea and indulge in several flavours of bannock while you wander through a variety of Indigenous art on display and for sale. Special guest speakers Dr. Jennifer Mervyn, Dwight Ballantyne and B’yauling Toni. 4:00 pm – 8:30 pm (doors open at 3:45 pm). Donations are being accepted for the Orange Shirt Society. Speakers on stage 6:30pm-8:30pm and this portion of the event is recommended for ages 11+
