The first ‘Revolutions for Research’ charity bike ride, hosted by the Cure Cancer Foundation, will bring together over 200 riders, young and old, on Sunday, September 12, 2021

- Snacks and drinks at the rest stops along the course
- Support vehicles on route to assist riders
- Bike maintenance & repair at Granary Road and Turner Valley locations

Until recently, a cancer diagnosis was based solely on a tumour’s location, size and cell type. This approach, based on a limited amount of information, meant patients received standard treatments that were often painful, toxic and ineffective.
Research through the Arnie Charbonneau Cancer Institute is moving us away from the “one-size-fits-all” diagnoses and treatments. It’s an effort to match the right treatment to the right person at the right time in the fight against cancer.
