Registration for The Great Basil Grow-A-Thon is on now until July 19 at http://www.bcaitc.ca! Everyone in BC is invited to participate in this fun virtual BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation (BCAITC) growing event taking place from August 9 to 30. Grow a basil plant from seed in your home garden while collecting pledges from friends and family to support BCAITC and your plant’s growing journey. Registered participants will receive a toolkit with basil seeds as well as gardening tips, resources, and recipes. Plus, participants and pledgers have a chance to win amazing prizes (totalling $550)! Thank you for your support of this initiative to help BCAITC raise $25,000 this summer and bring more BC agriculture and food education to K-12 students throughout the province!
