Trent University is pleased to announce the launch of Trent Day – a new annual event marking the anniversary of the 1963 Trent University Act proclamation and the founding of the higher education institution.

On April 9th, in honour of Trent Day, we invite the Trent University community to showcase school spirit, share empowering stories and promote giving to support student needs. Get social in honour of Trent Day!

Show #TrentDay pride on social media by sharing a memory or posting a current photo in Trent gear. Tag @TrentAlumni and use #TrentDay hashtag when posting.

Empower a student on Trent Day and double your impact by making a gift:

President’s Challenge – The University will match, dollar-for-dollar, every gift made to the Trent Fund, up to $15,000.

Otonabee Challenge - Otonabee alumna Martha Wilder ’74 has pledged $50,000 towards Otonabee College and challenges other OC alum to support the fund as generously as they can.

Champlain Challenge - Champlain alumnus François Senécal ’83 has stepped forward with a $25,000 gift to Champlain College and challenges all Champlain alum to join him in supporting the fund as generously as they can.

LEC Challenge – LEC alumna Krista (Hutchinson) Scaldwell ‘86 has established the Hutchinson Alumni Challenge with a $10,000 gift to Lady Eaton College. LEC alumni, especially new donors and younger alumni, are encouraged to support the fund as generously as they can.
