Violin/Piano House Concert with Wine “Boson Mo and Friends” (UBC)

Boson was the winner of Third Prize at the 2013 Michael Hill International Violin Competition. In 2015, he was the only Canadian representative at the 2015 International Tchaikovsky competition and was recognized by CBC/Radio-Canada as one of the top 30 Canadian classical musicians under 30. In the fall of 2017, he served as acting assistant concertmaster in the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. Boson will be joined on stage by pianist Scott Meek, as well as Music Friends co-founder Eric Wong, who will be making his debut in the series. Boson will first perform Mozart’s wonderfully lyrical Violin Sonata in B-flat Major, K. 454 with Eric, and then with Scott, he will perform Tchaikovsky’s Waltz-Scherzo and the perennial favourite Franck Violin Sonata. You will be surrounded by an audience of friendly music lovers. Please feel free to stay after the concert to have a glass of wine and mingle!
