The Field of Crosses Memorial Project is an annual display of white crosses on Memorial Drive.
Over 3,400 crosses are placed from November 1 – 11 and each cross memorializes an individual soldier from Southern Alberta who made the ultimate sacrifice during active duty protecting our country.
Members of the public are welcome to attend any of the ceremonies or visit the site at any time to walk among the crosses.
On November 11th, 2018 join Global Calgary at the Field of Crosses for a special live broadcast, Calgary Remembers, starting on air and live online at 10:30am MT.
