This is one of our most popular events. Dr. Gord Court will bring The Colonel, a rescued Barred Owl, and a Northern Saw-whet Owl to the store so you and your friends can see these magnificent birds up close. A bonus this time around is that Gord will also be bringing Vinnie, his Peregrine Falcon. We especially love to have children come to these events as it’s a wonderful way for them to connect with nature. Get a free owl poster. This event will support the work of the Beaverhill Bird Observatory (BBO). The BBO is a bird research and educational organization who will be bringing the Saw-whet Owl. You will have an opportunity to donate to the BBO at the store. For every $25 contribution to the BBO, you will receive a FREE owl mug valued at $14.99 from Wild Birds Unlimited, while supplies last. This is a free event. Extra parking is available at West Central Dental.
